President & CEO

Mr. Durr is a registered Professional Engineer (Ontario, Canada) and an expert Executive Program Manager with over 30 years of experience in managing the design and execution of major mining and infrastructure projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master Certificate in Project Management from York University. His technical expertise coupled with his creative and innovative abilities have resulted in a special talent for project problem solving, such as the sinking of three Potash shafts through the unconsolidated, water saturated, Blairmore formation; a feat that had not previously been done. In the Tintic district of Utah, where Provo is performing the rehabilitation and restart of the underground Trixie Gold Mine, Roy Durr has employed his Project Management skills to achieve production and sale of ore within a record 14 months from Provo’s start of activities there, employing innovative and cost reducing techniques to achieve this success despite complications during the peak of the global Covid-19 pandemic. In every project he has managed, the projects are delivered on time, on budget and on target, using the highest industry standards of reporting and performance tracking.

Jonathan “Jon” Tedrick

Business Development Manager

Jon is a drilling professional with 25+ years of experience in mining exploration, dewatering, environmental, & geotechnical drilling disciplines. He has worked nationwide and drilled or managed drilling programs in 45 states over his career. Starting his career off as a driller’s helper, he worked his way up to a Driller, Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Business Development Manager positions for some of the largest drilling contractors in the world. Jon also currently holds multiple contractors’ / business licenses and is a licensed driller in many states and certified by the NGWA as a CWD.

Joshua “Josh” Nelson

Drilling Operations Manager

Josh has over 28 years in the industry. Drilled surface holes to the depth of 9,800 feet and 3,000 feet underground. Fulfilled project requirements utilizing a wide variety of drilling methods including geotechnical drilling, packer testing, setting piezometers, wedges, and fishing lost tools. Extensive knowledge of geology in Nevada, Utah, California, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington, Arizona, Alaska, Oregon, Montana, Colorado, South Dakota, and Minnesota. Proficient even in extreme weather conditions and has supported drill rigs and drill moves via helicopter. Applies a deep knowledge of safety and MSHA regulations and is well-known for keeping safety-orientated drill crews with clean, organized drill sites. Experienced in working for clients such as Rio Tinto, Rio Tinto Exploration, Barrack, Newmont, Nevada Gold Mines, FMI, Kinross and is knowledgeable regarding the client’s expectations.

Zachary “Zack” Wallace

Mining Superintendent

Zack is a mining professional with 15+ years of experience in the mining industry. He has worked in several states and mined or managed projects within the industry. Zack has participated in all types of mining ranging from coal to hard rock, from drifts to stopes, and from conventional to mechanized. He started as a nipper and worked his way through the chains up to a manager. He is a highly motivated, honest, and dedicated individual with great attendance and a perfect personal safety record. Holds safety instructor card for surface and underground.

Raquel “Kellie” Munger

Health & Safety Manager

Kellie is a well-versed Safety Manager with 30 years’ experience in the Construction and Mining Industry, Surface, and Underground (Gold, Silver, Salt, Oil & Gas). She has 16 years’ experience as a Health and Safety Professional and 14 years in Blasting for Construction and Mining. She holds an MSHA instructor certification for Surface, Underground and Mine Rescue, with a passion and proactive outlook to provide a safe work environment. She has a comprehensive knowledge of the MSHA CFR 30 regulations, OSHA 1929 regulations, with experience managing programs in Critical Risk management, Hazard recognition, and Task Hazard Analysis.

Michael “Mike” Hoy

Mechanical Department Manager

Mike is a Mining/Drilling Maintenance Professional with 23 years of experience in all aspects of the industry. He has worked in underground mining, shaft sinking and rehab, also various types of underground/surface drilling. Starting out as an underground mechanic, miner, and driller, working his way up to lead mechanic, supervisor, superintendent, and maintenance manager. In his time in the industry he has 15 years on Mine Rescue as a certified benchman and Captain/Co-Captain on a team. He carries his instructors card certified unlimited underground, surface and mine rescue. 

Lisa Nelson

HR/Payroll & Accounting Manager

Lisa has been in the office setting for 13+ years, she currently oversees and supervises the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. She ensures accurate records and reports of HR/Payroll transactions. Complies with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Lisa facilitates the management of account payables, receivables, and reconciliations.

Advisor Geology & Drilling

Thomas Bowens is a certified professional geologist with over twenty-eight years of international experience in the mineral’s exploration industry and has spent the last twenty-two years based in Mongolia (1998-2006) and Russia (since 2005). Prior to founding IG Copper and IG Tintic, Mr. Bowens was the Vice President of Exploration and Chief of Operations for Fortress Minerals Corporation. Mr Bowens has been directly responsible for two major mineral deposit discoveries in Russia in the past 12 years, the Svetloye Gold Mine and Malmyzh Cu-Au Porphyry Deposit (sold to Russia Copper in 2018 for $200 million) and has a track record of success in the management and operation of exploration companies. He has worked for Cyprus Amax Exploration, Harrods Minerals, Ivanhoe Mines, and two Lundin Group Companies, International Uranium and Fortress Minerals. Mr Bowens has degrees in economics, geological engineering (Magna Cum Laude) and a master’s degree in Geology, the latter two from the Colorado School of Mines.
